Feb 11, 2010 – (Greensboro, NC) Gov. The company will create 373 jobs and invest $4 million during the next three years in Greensboro. The company will lease 72,000 sq ft in Meadowview Crossing.

As a leader in workforce development, GTCC has the capability to support technical training as well as customer service, leadership and interpersonal skill development training for these associates. As part of an overall economic development package to support LabCorp's decision to locate in Greensboro, the NC Community College System estimates the value of training support to be $298,400.

Burlington, NC based LabCorp provides testing services diagnostic support, medical lab specimens, cancer detection, drug testing, and other services to doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers. The company plans to consolidate billing operations from other facilities nationwide into a new office in Greensboro, creating 373 new jobs in Greensboro and transferring approximately 52 positions from its Burlington, NC billing operation to the new office.
